Bishop’s Convocation
October 18, 2021 - October 20, 2021
Through prayer, embodied practice, and Circles of Trust, shepherded by pastor and hospice chaplain Mary Peterson, we will cultivate awareness of what’s happening in and around us so we may live more fully from the inside out.
A gentle reminder, active pastors- your participation and voice are needed and expected by your Bishop and your synod constitution. Please connect with Bishop Laurie if you will not be in attendance. Retired pastors, interns, interims, those awaiting a call, and ecumenical partners serving ELCA congregations, your participation is invited and deeply welcome as we walk together into courageous love.
Each day the agenda will be from 9 am-1pm:
- Grounding
- Update or embodied practice
- Break
- Session
- Lunch
- Closing ritual that activates our senses.
Please keep your afternoons open (no working) for renewal and rest in your own time and way, or by joining one of the optional afternoon activities.
We will be mailing out participant packets to registrants for use during the event.
