Creative Ministry – Ministry Projects
“In July we distributed over 350 toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste and feminine hygiene products. Most humbling were the children that received a pouch with their toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss, who held them as if it were a present. This effort has opened many of us to the needs of our friends and neighbors here in southern Deschutes County.”– Jane Boubel, Project Leader, dental and feminine hygiene support. Sunriver Christian Fellowship. Creative Ministries Grant Recipient 2021
Victoria Delk Fund – Youth Projects
“Emanuel Lutheran Church would like to thank you for the opportunity to have this [community youth birthday] celebration. The grant money provided the birthday bags/totes, books, party contents, and the cupcakes. We were able to distribute about 600 books and 200 birthday bags to the children. Such a great feeling knowing that these children got books in their hands and all those goodies, and also got to enjoy all the activities provided especially during this trying time. We feel we what we did what we wanted to do and that was to reach lots of children in our community, and to celebrate those who are underserved.” – Michelle Crafford, Project Leader, community youth birthday celebration with local library–Delk Fund Grant Recipient 2021
