Synod Council

Our Synod Council is made up of both lay and clergy members. Terms are three years and may be renewed once. Some Council positions are filled by individual clusters and other positions are "at large," open to nomination from anyone in the synod. In every case we are looking for council members with a heart for the Lord, who are creative and hardworking, who will be in conversation with church members around them and their community, who are flexible and creative, trusting and hopeful. Council members have three meetings a year and the opportunity to serve with sub-committees or task groups between meetings.
